Wendy Quest grew up in a suburb of Dallas, Texas where the weather was relatively unpredictable (one day snow, the next burning sun). But one thing was constant - her desire to tell a good story.
The first step in becoming a writer is to join national and local writer's groups and study the market to see what is enduring but not necessarily trendy since trends change too quickly.
So Wendy joined RWA and her local Dallas chapter, DARA, as well as a few online chapters. Meeting fellow writers was both an inspiration and an encouragement. It's a joy to find like-minded people all with the same desire to tell wonderful stories.
Wendy loves reading all genres of romances, but has been concentrating her writing on contemporary and historical novels. Her latest works include a romantic suspense titled "A Dictator's Heart" and a light-hearted contemporary currently titled "Mr. Hollywood".
